Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was cozy with a comfortable king-size bed and a large TV, but the lack of a full-length mirror and small wardrobe were disappointing. The room got smoky due to the fireplace chimney near the window.
The hotel was disappointing in terms of room amenities with no full-length mirror, a very small wardrobe, and tatty bathrobes. The room was uncomfortably hot even with the windows open, making it challenging to sleep. On the positive side, the room being on the ground floor was convenient for my disabled husband, though it looked nothing like the pictures.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, but a bit hot. It was nice to be able to open a window instead of relying on air conditioning. However, it was awkward that the TV was downstairs and not visible from the bed. The service was mostly attentive and helpful, although communication with the barman and reception was a bit challenging. The location was fabulous, with great countryside views and a lovely lounge area. The dining was good overall, but the early closing time was not suitable for everyone. The facilities were well looked after and offered a cozy atmosphere.
